Class Description

Melody Makers is a course dedicated to nurturing students’ vocal abilities by instructing them in vocal warm-ups, proper breathing techniques, and essential choir skills. By the end of the semester, students will showcase their progress through a choir-style performance, where they will sing the songs they’ve learned. The program is designed to be engaging and enjoyable, featuring a themed presentation.

Theme: Melody Mixup – Where Every Genre Finds Its Voice

In the midst of the semester, students will also have the opportunity to share their musical talents with the community by visiting a retirement home and performing for the residents, spreading the joy of music to a wider audience.

Class runs from January 16 through May 1, with a showcase on May 10.

Supplies required:  water bottle recommended

Registration Fee & Refund Policy: A non-refundable $35 registration fee is required per student. Tuition is fully refundable minus a $25 cancellation fee after the first class, 50% refundable after the second class, and non-refundable after the third class.

Location Update:
As of right now, we will continue to meet at Crossroad Baptist Church. If we do secure a new location, it will still be in the area and convenient for our families. We’ll keep you updated on any changes!

Please be sure your student can attend regularly—each class builds on the last, and consistent participation helps everyone learn and grow together. Regular attendance is essential for a positive and successful class experience.
