Theme: Press Start: A Musical Adventure
Get ready to press start and jump into a world of music, imagination, and fun! In this high-energy choir, we’ll explore exciting songs inspired by your favorite video games, unlocking new “levels” as we sing, move, and perform together. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, this adventure is all about teamwork, creativity, and leveling up your confidence on stage!
Melody Makers is a course dedicated to nurturing students’ vocal abilities by instructing them in vocal warm-ups, proper breathing techniques, essential choir skills, and some choreography. By the end of the semester, students will showcase their progress through a choir-style performance, where they will perform the songs they’ve learned. The program is designed to be engaging and enjoyable, featuring a themed presentation.
In the midst of the semester, students will also have the opportunity to share their musical talents with the community by visiting a retirement home and performing for the residents, spreading the joy of music to a wider audience.
