Join Hablemos Español (“Let’s Speak Spanish”) for a fun and engaging 12-week journey into the Spanish language and culture! This beginner-friendly class is designed to help students build confidence in everyday conversation through interactive lessons, games, music, pronunciation practice, and real-life vocabulary.

Students will learn essential Spanish phrases, greetings, numbers, colors, family terms, food vocabulary, common verbs, and basic sentence structure while developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. 

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Hold simple conversations in Spanish
• Introduce themselves and ask basic questions
• Understand common words and phrases
• Read and write simple sentences
• Gain confidence speaking Spanish in everyday situations

No prior Spanish experience is required. This class encourages participation, creativity, and communication in a supportive and enjoyable environment where students learn by speaking — because in this class, ¡Hablamos Español!

 This Class Pairs Well With

• Art of Communication – Strengthen speaking, listening, and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Theater – Practice confidence, expression, and communication that naturally complements language learning.
• Choir – Music is a wonderful way to reinforce pronunciation, rhythm, and language patterns while building confidence.

Class runs from August 14 through November 13.

Registration Fee & Refund Policy: A non-refundable $35 registration fee ($25 for current CAPA students) is required per student. Tuition is fully refundable minus a $25 cancellation fee after the first class, 50% refundable after the second class, and non-refundable after the third class.

Please be sure your student can attend regularly—each class builds on the last, and consistent participation helps everyone learn and grow together. Regular attendance is essential for a positive and successful class experience.
