This amazing workshop is led by the amazing team from Arizona Christian Arts Ministries! 

As we all know, costume ladies (or gentlemen) are expected to perform magic on shoestring budgets with infinite humor, patience and creativity! 

We will divide the day into THREE shorter sessions:

Pre-Show
Concept, Research, Design, Fitting, Sourcing, Management, Budgets and Staff.

Show and Post– Show
Managing, Budgets, staff, Maintaining and Wrap-up.

Hacks and Tricks
Basic construction, sourcing, fittings and general creativity.

We will use LOTS of pictures, stories and examples to illustrate the process of costuming for the theatre. We will address the importance of the costumer as part of the creative team. Special attention will be given to the management of costumes during 
dress rehearsals and performances. Instruction will be given on tear-down, cleaning, 
and wrapping up costumes once the show is over. 
Finally we will wrap up with a case 
study of one show and how these principles apply in a specific case.
