Lights, camera, action! At CAPA’s Summer Film Camp, students will dive into the fundamentals of filmmaking and put their skills to the test in an exciting hands-on challenge. After learning the basics of visual storytelling, participants will be divided into teams of three, where each student will create their own 10-shot short film—no dialogue, just pure cinematic storytelling!
Each team member will rotate between directing, acting, and operating the camera, ensuring they gain experience in every role of the filmmaking process. By the end of the camp, students will have three unique films under their belt and a deeper understanding of how to craft a compelling story through visuals alone.
The experience culminates in a special showcase, where friends and family can watch the incredible films created throughout the week!
