CAPA Academy is a thriving community of exclusively homeschooling families.

Welcome To Creative Arts And Production Academy

Creative Arts and Production Academy (CAPA) is proud to bring the beauty of fine arts, theater and culture to our local homeschool students as well as the entire Southwest Valley. Our classes and events create a vibrant space where creativity thrives, allowing the student or the community member to explore their artistic curiosity and share their talents with the community at large.

CAPA offers a variety of educational classes “Academy”, theater production programs, special interest clubs, field trips, dances, and more to their homeschooling members.

For the community at large, CAPA provides an array of fun and entertaining events such as community theater, special events like games and dances, and educational workshops.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the community with opportunities to experience art and culture in ways that are inspiring and engaging. We believe that God designed everyone to create. That belief is at the root of what we do.

Testimonials

What The Parents Say

"CAPA is such an incredible program! I was worried about homeschooling my two teenagers this school year. I wasn’t sure how to connect them with like minded peers, but CAPA has completely took that fear away. Now my 16 year old and 14 year old are thriving. They have made numerous friends and have gained creative experiences through the various classes CAPA offers."

"It's a fabulous show! Go see it!"

"Joining CAPA has been such a great experience! My son didn’t initially have an interest in theater, so he chose Basics of Film for his class. The class has been way more in depth and hands-on than we could have imagined; he has met an amazing group of kids and learned so much. He can’t wait to take more classes with CAPA next session and is even considering theater! A place where my kids are learning, socializing with peers, and encouraged to try new things in a safe environment is such a blessing. There are many opportunities at CAPA and we are so happy to be a part of it!"

Arizona’s ESA program is a state-funded initiative that provides financial assistance to families who wish to customize their child’s education. It allows parents to use allocated funds for educational expenses, such as private school tuition, online courses, tutoring, and approved educational materials. Homeschool families in Arizona can participate in CAPA while using their ESA funds for eligible theater and arts education expenses. Please consult the Arizona Department of Education’s ESA website or contact CAPA’s administrative office for guidance on how to use ESA funds for CAPA programs. CAPA has its own ESA advisor to aid parents with using ESA funds, contact Lindsay Meredith at ESAadvisor@capaaz.org.
